Formerly known as Plimoth Plantation, Plimoth Patuxet Museums blends the rich character of New England history with the comfort and flexibility couples want on their wedding day. The grounds include a lovingly recreated 1627 Pilgrim village, one of the most distinctive and memorable backdrops you’ll find in Massachusetts. But what really makes it special is how it feels: wide-open spaces where your guests can relax, the fresh salt air drifting in from the bay, and that beautiful golden coastal light.
Hornblower Garden
A tucked-away garden with colorful blooms, stone walkways, and panoramic views of Cape Cod Bay. It’s a peaceful, romantic spot for saying “I do” and an incredible setting for couple portraits.
Peabody Pavilion
An airy, covered space that keeps you close to the water while offering shelter from the elements. It’s flexible enough for both receptions and ceremonies, and its open layout makes it easy for guests to mingle and enjoy the view.
Many couples choose to hold their ceremony in the garden and then move to the Pavilion for cocktails, dinner, and dancing, making the most of both spaces without worrying about the weather.
